Channel 4 HD finally hits Freesat
Despite being available on Sky, Virgin and Freeview for a while now, Channel 4 HD has finally made it onto the Freesat platform.
This brings the number of channels on Freesat up to four. When Freesat launched, the only HD service on offer was the BBC HD service. ITV’s HD service launched in June 2008 (via the red button) and in November 2010, BBC One HD was added. On the 19th of April 2011, Channel 4 eventually made it to the Freesat channel lineup, on channel 126.
As of today, there are 90 channels operating on Freesat (that’s assuming you don’t count the timeshift channels and the regional variations)
Not in Wales, only the Welsh language S4/C version, some programs of which have no viewers.
