        On the 20th of May 2024, I was using the ROKU box and YouTube. This time there was an Amazon Download AND SUBSCRIBE WARNING. The Firestick has been changed by Amazon so that when we download an app from the Amazon App Store we see the different options. The FIRST is Download app AND SUBSCRIBE for the PAYING SERVICE. The THIRD option is DOWNLOAD THE APP ONLY.

        ONE MISTAKE AND YOU PAY FOR THE SERVICE regardless of whether you subscribe already.

        So SLOW DOWN and read the screen carefully as ONE MISTAKE and you could get into serious problems with your bank details or your credit card details. Who knows if apps would charge for a day or a month or a year?

        The YouTube video says AMAZON WTF?

        Beware of this when installing Apps on Firestick… The video is by Free Tech.

        The video comments on how children just press buttons and that could cost the parents or guardians money.

        The changes may not be worldwide and we can double check for the UK customers to make sure. The video comment says, I don’t want to have to change Parental Settings… That’s not always the way to go, but as long as we READ the options and select option 3, the third along, we should be OK.
