The Netgem Netbox 4K model I got on eBay for less than £15 gets Freeview channels as well as over 100 extra Netgem TV channels and now Netgem adds another 6 Sports TV channels.

http://www.youtube.com for video tutorials.NB this model is a round rectangular size in black with the Netgem logo on the top. The reset button is on the left side. I can view Freeview and set to record a show. I can access Catchup TV and paid Internet-streaming services, too.
Using the HDMI to Scart adapter from websites such as ebay.co.uk and ebay.ie we can set our DVD Recorder to record what’s displayed on the Netbox. Best quality helps to improve the playbacks so I set my recorder to XP quality.

The Netbox service has added an extra app. This time it’s the streaming app for free movies and TV shows and the TUBI app is well worth checking to see what’s available to stream.
The search service http://www.justwatch.com helps us to learn which streaming services let us watch a specific film or TV series and that’s by the website or the justwatch app.
We don’t always need to subscribe to some pay service for individual content. It helps us find free services so we save some money for future content searches.
Sky and Now TV updates
As for NOW TV Entertainment and Kids shows and extra films now and then, we may get discount deals beyond what the home page displays. I’m getting 6 months for £6 a month after cancelling Sky and HD services.
Sky will increase Sky Signature by £4 a month from April 2025 so that’s £48 extra each year from now on and I chose to cancel and switch to NOW TV. I watch content on my ROKU set-top box and select the live TV shows or the archived box set favourites or whatever the links can guide me to.
The Netbox lets me watch over 100 extra streaming TV channels so I’m doing what I can to reduce the cable costs using different streaming services while still using the Sky+ HD set-box box to record the free TV channels by paying the £10 a month for a minimum of 24 months to Sky to use the Sky+ Planner recordings as I did before. £10 and £6 extra for NOW TV will be better than the £32 a month Sky expected me to agree to.
