As a subscriber to the Netgem TV emails I get the updates and this week sees the launch of 15 TV channels added to the Netgem TV channels the set-top boxes get when they tune in again. So it’s no wonder that I recommend getting a Netbox 4K set-top box from http://www.ebay.co.uk as I’ve got already. Over 100 TV channels beyond what Freeview offers except the recent recent news of Channel 4 removing a few of its music channels when July 2024 arrives.

When TV channels get taken off Freeview it makes us wonder if new TV channels will appear to use up that available broadcasting space. Sometimes a TV channel is on hold until the channel gets launched later in the year. If new channels are HD channels then these use up more broadcasting space.

YouTube offers recent updates about the Government’s plan to move TV and Radio channels off Freeview so they can sell off the services. In the meantime, we get Freeview as well as Internet-streaming as well as Catch-up TV services. Broadband access costs us money so why we’re expected to get this is to help the Government rather than ourselves. In any case, the inevitable will happen and getting Broadband services will confuse many UK citizens who aren’t able to fathom out the technical side of the Internet and may not even have a computer, a laptop or a mobile phone.

Some Broadband services like Virgin Media and Sky link to long contracts. Even so, the Freeola Broadband is on a month-by-month access and offers incredibly fast access speeds.
