The YouTube video explained the playlet app stating that this is an alternative and that it has no no adverts. We can customise the app using its own menu options. The video displayed the first view of various kinds of videos and the main menu on the left showed search and I checked my own name for any results. There were about 60 results. I checked Revelation TV and there were dozens of results there, too. The app as it’s called on ROKU also has a filter option so we can get different results including a date limit for these as well as picture quality which seems to have a maximum of 720 pixels quality.
In any case, it may provide extra videos that YouTube hasn’t based on its own members updating with their videos whether they are on YouTube later or not.

It’s the 4th of March 2025 and thanks to visiting this topic about playlet I was able to access my ROKU set-top box to see the playlet content. It included the new Doctor Who Season 2 trailer. It was followed by the season’s review on the video labelled as whatculture.com/who presented by Ellie Littlechild.
As expected when I watch a review I get bombarded with references I remember and yet I also get amazing insights and tributes to previous Doctors and companions and the villains, too. The comments seemed to switch quickly to future episodes linking to May and a musical episode in a gigantic Cosmic arena.
After the Ellie review she continued in the next video about The Cutting Room Floor containing withdrawn video clips from previous Doctor stories.
So there could be something here for super-duper Doctor Who fans.
Mind you, Season 2 has a flipping gigantic SPIDER in close-up detail and full screen, too. So you av bin warned!
