ITV’s radio station comedy starts next week

Radio’s a funny business – those having worked behind the mic and behind the scenes will have a stack of stories, and shows like The Kit Curran Radio Show, US classic comedy WKRP and the film Good Morning Vietnam have highlighted that what goes in tiny radio studios around the world can be a hoot.

ITV2 will be launching a new comedy series next week, and looks like being one to watch. Called “FM”, this is based at a London Indie station called Skin FM, and features Chris O’Dowd (The IT Crowd), Kevin Bishop (Star Stories) and Nina Sosanya (Teachers).

The show starts on Wednesday the 25th February 2009 on ITV2. More on our new FM page.
