A couple of weeks ago, a new service, TView, appeared on Freeview channel 32. The Tview service allowed Freeview viewers to watch a small selection of movies by paying for access using an SMS text message, and getting a viewing PIN in return.
After just two weeks, the service has been removed. A message on the Tview website confirms the removal of the service, calling it a “trial”. There’s also a cryptic message stating “We have new plans that we will be announcing in due course.”
The channel, still labelled “Big Deal”, now seems to be broadcasting “The Jewellery Channel”
maybe a return then for tview at some time
that didint last long whats the point in offering a pay per view channel channel on a freeview service when you have so many other channels offering free films on freeview?
Haha im not surprised dont even bother its a stupid idea the clue is in the title FREEVIEW…
needed some work on the service anyway. after entering my pin number my top up tv subscription stopped. had to totally reset my box.
