Two London radio stations have just closed – Time 106.8 (South-East London and Greenwich) and South London Radio 107.3 (Lewisham and Bromley).
Time launched in 1990 as RTM Radio, renaming to Millennium 106.8 in 1996. The station was owned by the Sunrise Radio Group. After rating fell to a 1% reach, Sunrise put the station up for sale.
Both stations ceased broadcasting on 3rd April 2009 after the station’s new owner reportedly gave up after just seven days.
