Yesterday, formerly known as UKTV History, currently broadcasts from 6am to 6pm on Freeview channel 12. Now, additional timeslots have been negotiated with Arqiva, and from the 1st of June, the channel will be available from 6am to 1am.
Keith Porritt, Executive Director, Commercial at the channel’s owners UKTV says “In 2008 Yesterday’s hours on Freeview were reduced to 12 hours. Our Freeview viewers have regularly told us that they want a full service back, so we’re delighted to be able to restore Yesterday as a full channel to the platform and extend access to our new programmes which reflect on such an important period of our recent history.”
Yesterday is also available on Sky and Virgin.
